In the 70s, one of the largest distilleries in Scotland
Uses a mash filter instead of a traditional mash tun - this is common in brewing, but not in whisky-making. Takes half the time and has a much higher spirit yield
A different mill is also required, as the grain has to be ground to a very fine flour with no husks remaining
