The distillery is ultra-modern and will be used for experiments and testing as well as regular whisky production
There are no regular tours, although there is an open day once a month with a small complimentary tour
Next door is the famous Islay Maltings - which supplies most of Islay and Jura, as well as many other Diageo distilleries. They have 7 drums @ 46 tonnes each as well as 3 large kilns
